A longtime follower of environmental news, Samantha had a chance to report on some during her time as a news reporter for C-VILLE Weekly. Now, as SELC’s Digital Content Manager, she uses her many talents to share the organization’s news with our audiences online, whether that be via our website, social media, or email. A highlight of her work at SELC has been helping create and launch a campaign aimed at confronting climate change by cutting carbon emissions in her home state of Virginia.
Samantha grew up in the Shenandoah Valley and now calls Charlottesville home. When looking for an escape from the news, she heads east on I-64 until she hits the Chesapeake Bay.
