Office:

Charlottesville, VA – Headquarters

Anya Shepelavey

Office Administrative Assistant

Anya assists the office manager in SELC’s regional headquarters office. She steps in when the receptionist or office administrator is out, and also assists with office processes and structures in the Virginia office. Her expert organizational skills bring order to the many moving pieces in headquarters and allow the attorneys and regional staff to continue the mission of SELC.

Anya is proud of SELC’s work preserving private land from corporate exploitation and pollution, especially in communities that have historically been marginalized. One of Anya’s favorite spots to visit is Humpback Rocks on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. The uphill trail through forest greenery and over big boulders offers a great workout in a serene environment and ends with rewarding vistas and sun-kissed places to perch.
